Unit of Measurement
Unit of Measurement is to define the magnitude of the Inventory quantity in Invoice, Quotation, Credit Note, Delivery Note and Purchase Order.
You can pre-set the Unit of Measure for each Inventory item and the value of Unit of Measure will be auto populated when you select the Inventory
into Invoice, Quotation and etc.
1. In Xin Inventory 1.0 program, click on "Setting" tab on the top menu.

2. Click on the dropdown button under "Lookup", select "U.O.M.".

3. On the Unit of Measurement page, click on button "New" on the top menu.

4. On the New Unit of Measurement page, enter the value of Unit of Measurement and click button "Save".

5. New Unit of Measurement has been created.

6. To edit existing Unit of Measurement value, select it and click on button "Edit" on the top menu.

7. Amend the Unit of Measurement accordingly, click button "Save". By setting the Status to "inactive", this Unit of Measure will not appear in the Inventory, Invoice, Quotation, Delivery Note, Credit Note and Purchase Order screen.

8. To delete a Unit of Measurement record, select it from the Unit of Measurement list, click on "Delete" button on the top menu.

9. In Inventory master page, you may select default Unit of Measurement for the Inventory.

10. The Unit of Measurement will be auto populated into Invoice, Quotation, Credit Note, Delivery Note and Purchase Order when you select the Inventory item.
